First off, I got the trekking poles last spring. 

Training for a big hike this early winter, I worked using the poles in my training for the hike.

Took awhile to get used to the poles, but super excited to share that more than 6 million visitors to the Grand Canyon this year, we are part of the "two percent" venturing to the bottom. Great friends and great hike!

Using the poles was very easy and super efficient and all my hikes from now on will incorporate using the poles.
